Employment letter drafts

Turn information you supply into an unsigned draft for employer review. No generated employers, claims, or signatures.

Loading your local draft…

Your entries stay in this browser, including the local saved draft. Do not use a shared device for private employment information. Nothing is sent to an employer or government agency.

Accented and non-Latin text downloads as an image-based PDF using fonts available on your device. Check for missing characters. For selectable, searchable text, use Print / Save as PDF instead. No document text or fonts are uploaded.

Unsigned draft preview

  • Complete all letter fields; employment end date is optional.
  • Enter valid letter and employment dates, with end on or after start.
  • Weekly hours must be a number greater than 0 and no more than 168.

Transparent method

A draft, not employment evidence

The template combines only your supplied facts. It does not certify employment, establish immigration eligibility, or replace Form I-983. An authorized employer must review the final document and provide any required signature.

Copy and PDF creation run in your browser. Accented and non-Latin text downloads as an image-based PDF using device fonts; review the downloaded characters before sharing. Use Print / Save as PDF for selectable text. The preview preserves your text without executing HTML.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Is this an official USCIS or ICE template?

No. It is a general drafting aid, not a required government form. Ask the requesting organization and your employer which content and evidence they require.

Can I sign on behalf of my employer?

This tool does not create signatures. Only an appropriately authorized person can approve employer statements; the student cannot act as their own employer signatory for Form I-983.

Is the draft private?

The tool keeps the draft in local browser storage and generates downloads locally. Clear it on shared devices and protect downloaded documents.
