Who publishes the guides

Articles are published and maintained by The GPA Calculator Editorial Team. This is a site-level editorial credit, not a claim that an individual author represents a school, admissions office, licensing body, or scholarship provider.

Calculation methodology

Calculator examples use credit-weighted quality points on the letter-grade scale shown in the product. Weighted-course bonuses are estimates and can differ from the rules used by a particular school.

Academic policies and conversions

Admissions thresholds, honors rules, repeated-course policies, and international conversions vary by institution and can change. For rule-based claims, we prefer the current publication from the school, government agency, application service, or other organization that owns the rule. We identify the institution and effective period when they matter rather than presenting one school's policy as a universal standard.

Guides are educational starting points. Readers should confirm decisions with the official school, program, transcript evaluator, or policy owner. A source can support a stated rule without making our worked example an official calculation.

Review and publication status

Review dates record a substantive content review, not a cosmetic edit. If a guide has an unresolved source or product-accuracy issue, we remove it from search and site discovery while it is being reviewed. It does not receive article structured data again until the issue is resolved.

Editorial independence

Advertising does not determine calculator results, policy conclusions, source selection, or whether a correction is made. Sponsored placement is not used as evidence for an academic rule.

Corrections

We prioritize corrections to formulas, broken references, and outdated policy statements. To report an issue, email chensong77777@gmail.com or use the additional contact options. Material corrections are incorporated into the page and its review date rather than silently preserving a known error.
